Day 1 : Delhi - Leh
Arrival at Leh airport to be receives by a representative of Adventure Ibex and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a half day of rest. Post lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupas is a best view point for Leh city from where one can enjoy beautiful view of Stok Kangri and Tsemo Castle(Shanti Stupa build by Japanese and inaugurated by H.H The 14th Dalai Lama) O/N Leh.
Day 2 :Leh - Uley 72 Kms / 4-5 hrs
After Breakfast drive to Alchi enrooted visit to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill and enjoy the view of Sangam, a confluence of Indus and Zanskar River, Alchi Temple (Alchi temple or the Alchi Choskor was founded by the famous scholar and translator Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo (958AD - 1055AD) in the 10th century.Still today one can witness the beautiful wall painting of 10th century.All 32 artist who worked to build Alchi Choskor are Hindu.)hot lunch at Alchi O/N at Uley Resort.
Day 3 : Uley - Kargil via Mulbek/ 6-7 hrs
Morning after the breakfast, drive to Kargil via Lamayuru monastery(Lamayuru monastery or Tharpaling is situated at around 125 kms from Leh on NH1 (National Highway One).It is said that the Indian scholar Naropa (956AD-1041AD) also visited and meditated there and still today one can see the cave inside the monastery) and Mulbek. Visit Mulbek Chamba(A rock cut image of Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek village, popular as Mulbek Chamba. This place comes on a highway NH1. It is nine meters in height. There are various interpretations on its date on origin. Some traces this carving back from 7th century and some from early 1st century) and enjoy the scenery of the villages in way. Reach Kargil by evening O/N Kargil.
Day 4 : Kargil - Padum 250 Kms / 11-12 hrs
Early Morning after breakfast drive to Padum (Zanskar), On the way, visit to Karseka village where u can have view of giant rock carved Buddha in 960 AD, later leave for Padum enroute have magnificent view of Nun Kun Peak more than 7000 mt and Dran Drung Glacier. Reach Padum by Evening O/N Padum.
Day 5 : Padum - Local sightseeing 6-7 hrs
Morning after Breakfast leave full day local sightseeing aroung Padum, Karsha(The Karsha monastery, like every big and majestic monastery in Ladakh and Tibet, Karsha is built like a fortress and defiant against the Hillside. It is the largest monastery in Zanskar. It is around 9 km away from Padum across the river and it takes 2 hours on foot to reach the place. Gonpa was founded by translator Phagspa Sherab from Zanskar), Stongdey & Sani gompa(It's in the north west of Padum along the Stod River. It is believed that Guru Padmasambhava visited Sani and meditated for many years. Maha Siddha Naropa is visited the place and meditated. Sani Nasjal is a monastic festival that happens during 15th to 20th of sixth month of the Tibetan calendar. The very ancient Kanika Stupa/chorten is located at Sani. This Stupa lies behind the monastery. This Stupa is popularly associated with the Emperor Kanishka from 1st century. In a small shrine near Stupa, we can see old icons and murals preserved behind the glass. ) and visit to Zangla fort O/N Padum.
Day 6 :Padum - Rangdum 130 Kms /5-6 hrs
After Breakfast leave back to Rangdum(Rangdum Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery belonging to the Gelugpa sect, situated on top of a small but steep sugarloaf hill at an altitude of 4,031 m (13,225 ft) at the head of the Suru Valley, in Ladakh. It is next to the tiny village of Julidok, and about 25 km from the 4,400 m (14,436 ft) Pensi La (pass) which leads into Zanskar) by same route O/N Rangdum.
Day 7 :Rangdum - Shargol 145 Kms 5 - 6 hrs
Rangdum after breakfast drive all the way back to Shargol via Kargil enjoying beautiful mountains and glacier O/N at Shargol camp.
Day 8 : Shargol - Leh 7 -8 hrs
Morning after Breakfast leave for Leh, enrooted visit Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru, one of the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and enjoy the view of Moon Landscape. Arrive Khalsay by afternoon for hot lunch, later leave for Leh, and reach Leh by evening O/N Leh.
Day 9 : Leh Sightseeing.
Today full day leh sightseeing easy drive,visit to
Thiksey (Thiksay Monastery located on top of a hill. It is noted for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet and is the most beautiful Gonpa (monastery) in central Ladakh.It is a twelve-story complex and houses many items of Buddhist art such as stupas, statues, Thangkas, wall paintings. One of the most beautiful thing to see at Thiksey monastery has a two storey statue of Buddha Maitreya, which was made in 1980 and got it blessed by H.H.Dalai Lama)
Hemis Monastery (Hemis monastery is 48 kms away from Leh and famous as the richest and the biggest monastery of Ladakh. It was built in 1630 AD and founded by the first incarnation of Stagsang Raspa who was invited to Ladakh by the king Singay Namgyal. This monastery belongs to Drukpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism)
Stok Palace (The palace was built in 1825 by the king Tsespal Tondup. Around in 1834, the royal family was forced to flee to Stok palace when Zorawar Singh, the army general of Dogra king annexed Ladakh and ended the Kings rule of Ladakh. The royal family still lives at the palace. At present the palace museum has a collection of Royal dresses, Kings Crown, Ornaments and Jewels) and

Day 10 : Pangong Lake - Leh 280 Kms / 10-11 hrs. (Option: You can visit Thiksey Puja in the morning before leaving for Pangong Lake).
After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, it is the third highest motor able road in the world. Arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Drive back to Leh by the same route O/N Leh.
Day 11 : Leh - Nubra Valley 120 Kms / 5-6 hrs
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motor able road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hunder by afternoon. Lunch at Camp, rest of the day one is free to explore Disket, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Disket and Hunder Village O/N Nubra Valley.
Day 12 : Nubra Valley - Leh 120 Kms / 5-6 hrs
After Breakfast visit Disket Monastery, where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass O/N Leh.
Day 13: Leh to Tsomoriri Lake 240 Kms / 240 Kms / 8-9 hrs
Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri lake (14000 ft above sea level) by passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) along the Indus river. Tsomoriri Lake one of the most magnificent lake afterwards take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty O/N Korzok Village.
Day 14: Tsomoriri - Tsokar - Taglangla - Leh 260 Kms / 8-9 hrs
Morning after breakfast leave to Leh passing Puga (Sulphur Mine)
Tsokar Lake (The Tso Kar or Tsho kar, known for its size and depth, is a fluctuating salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh.Due to the salinity of the Tso Kar, most of the resident fauna is found in its tributaries and in Startsapuk Tso. There are large breeding colonies of grebes and Brown-headed gulls, and some Strip geese, rust geese and terns. In the vicinity of the lake Black-necked Cranes and Tibetan grouse are relatively common. The basin of the Tso Kar and the adjoining More Plains constitute one of the most important habitats of the kiang, Tibetan gazelles, Tibetan wolves and foxes; there are steppe marmots in the higher reaches.
